Why Nodia Exists

Most thumb braces are built for one of two jobs: resting a joint between flares, or immobilising it after surgery. We built one for the third job, which is the one most people actually need — carrying on with the thing you were doing when the pain started.

The Row Forty is a knitted sleeve with a shaped foam insert that sits directly over the CMC joint. It holds the joint without locking the wrist, without pinching the palm, without the burst seams of the cheap versions. We named it The Row Forty because that's where crafters tell us the pain stops them — and because stopping at row forty is the specific problem we built this product to solve.
